From Pageants to Politics: A Multifaceted Maven Mastering the Media

As a bi-coastal native, I had the privilege of growing up in both New York and Washington state, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for different perspectives and cultures.

My love for politics and communications was unexpected but came to fruition through my journey in the world of pageantry. The experience of representing Washington state at Miss USA 2022 was a true honor and served as a platform for me to showcase my talents, passion, and dedication to making a positive impact on the world.

With my passion for making a difference, I successfully launched a career in politics, working on various campaigns. Eventually, this journey led me to establish Eckel Brand Management LLC, where I can continue to make meaningful contributions to the fields I am passionate about. Eckel Brand Management specializes in Social Media Management, Graphic Design, and Brand Strategy. I continue to work with Politicians, Political candidates, and businesses to leverage their digital media presence.

Navigating the world of digital marketing in style, Mazzy has pursued a successful career in Political Communications, most notably working with NWP Consulting on various high-profile races.

“Running for office is an inherently challenging and demanding endeavor that requires individuals to be vulnerable and face high levels of stress. With Eckel Brand Management, I aim to alleviate some of their burdens by assuming tasks and responsibilities, allowing them to concentrate on other demanding issues. Moreover, I work to communicate their identity and vision to constituents through social media platforms, ensuring that their message is understood and relatable. By crafting content that is digestible and engaging, I help foster a connection between the candidate and the people they aspire to represent.”

I had the opportunity to be a fellow member and class speaker in The Institute for a Democratic Future class of 2023 (IDF) . During this program, my duties involved participating in a rigorous program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be an effective leader in politics and policy-making. Through this program, I gained the opportunities to engage in thought-provoking discussions with experts in the field, as well as collaborate with a diverse group of emerging leaders who share a passion for democracy.
